Overview
Oligo is seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead our product marketing strategy and play a pivotal role in defining a new category in the cybersecurity space. This position requires a deep understanding of topics across the cybersecurity landscape, experience in developing and executing impactful go-to-market (GTM) strategies and demonstrated success in leading product marketing teams in high-growth startup environments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as one of Oligo’s subject matter experts (SME) as a recognized authority on the market and closely follow industry trends and competitive offerings to drive product positioning and GTM strategy.
- Develop and Oligo’s product positioning and messaging, with an emphasis on differentiation from existing approaches.
- Create core product and solution content for both technical and non-technical audiences, to be used as a basis for sales and partner enablement, marketing campaigns, and customer communications.
- Develop and maintain definitions of Oligo’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), customer buying group centers and personas to ensure alignment across product, marketing, customer success, and go-to-market functions.
- Be responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of all product and feature introductions. Work closely with product development teams to drive a roadmap of timely and informed product announcements.
- Deliver sales enablement training on our product, sales plays, competitive messaging, and objection handling.Develop high-quality sales enablement materials such as product briefs, brochures, and presentations for both internal GTM teams and partners.
- Lead our Analyst Relations program and with key influencers, from thought leaders to partner evangelists to customer advocates and promote Oligo’s category positioning and product message.
- Create whitepapers, demos, technical guides, FAQs, and case studies that provide insights into how the product works, including integration details, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in B2B cybersecurity software product marketing
- Deep understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem, and specific expertise in monitoring, detection and response.
- Have led the product marketing function at a company that has experienced growth from sub $5M to more than $40M
- Have led a team of product marketers, including market intelligence and enablement functions
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in business, marketing, or technical degree (i.e. computer science, engineering, Information Technology, etc.). A Master’s in Business Administration is a major plus.
- Demonstrated success in product and solutions marketing in high-growth environments, with previous management experience and proven success in managing key initiatives.
